You will play a key role in the delivery of professional Building Surveying services to a well-established client base, spanning sectors such as industrial, commercial offices, retail, and mixed-use. Depending on your level, you will also be expected to contribute to the mentoring of junior surveyors and the wider growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead on a range of professional instructions including dilapidations, landlord and tenant matters, reinstatement cost assessments, technical due diligence, and contract administration
- Manage all phases of the dilapidations process - from survey to negotiation
- Maintain and grow relationships with an existing, lucrative client base
- Support and develop junior surveyors, graduates and apprentices through structured mentoring and APC guidance
- Contribute to service delivery improvements and support senior leadership on business development initiatives
- Work collaboratively with other business areas to deliver a seamless service to clients
- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
- Strong experience delivering core professional surveying services, particularly dilapidations
- Confident in client-facing settings with experience managing key stakeholders
- Able to manage projects from inception to completion or eager to step into a more autonomous role
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Commercially aware, with experience in office, industrial, retail, or mixed-use sectors
- A proactive and personable approach, with a passion for continuous improvement
