A leading and expanding multidisciplinary construction consultancy are now seeking a dedicated, detail orientated and client facing Associate Structural Engineer to assist them with leading projects, being the main point of contact for key clients and developing the structural engineering team.

The Associate Structural Engineer Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure design quality across the team.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and manage project resources.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Contribute to fee proposals, bids, and business development activities.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and BIM protocols.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Represent the practice at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Essential skills, experience, and attributes
- MEng or BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Membership (IStructE or ICE).
- Excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written English and report writing skills.
- Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
