A UK wide Construction Consultancy are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their London-based team. This Assistant Quantity Surveyor role offers exposure to a range of commercial and residential projects within a professional consultancy environment. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work closely with experienced quantity surveyors, supporting cost management and commercial reporting. This position suits an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their quantity surveying career within a structured surveying team. Quantity surveying support, quantity surveyor training and hands-on quantity surveying experience form a core part of this opportunity.
The Company
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining an independent construction consultancy providing quantity surveying and commercial management services across the London market. The business works with developers, investors and contractors, delivering projects across multiple sectors. This Assistant Quantity Surveyor role sits within a growing surveying team that offers consistent workflow and clear progression.
The Role
As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors, supporting the delivery of projects from pre-contract through to final account. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist with day-to-day commercial and cost management duties. The role will include:
- Assisting with cost planning and cost reporting
- Supporting tender and contract documentation
- Assisting with valuations, variations and final accounts
- Attending site meetings and progress reviews
- Working alongside clients, contractors and consultants
- Supporting the preparation of commercial reports
In return……?
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
