An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to join its growing team in Didcot. The Role

  • Preparing site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application advice.
  • Producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
  • Undertaking traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments.
  • Liaising with clients, project teams and local authorities.
  • Attending project meetings and providing professional transport planning advice.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high technical standards.

About You

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a transport planning consultancy.
  • Proven experience preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard junction modelling software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Membership of, or working towards, a professional body such as CIHT or ICE. Chartered status would be advantageous.
