An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to join its growing team in Didcot. The successful Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner will become part of an experienced team delivering innovative transport planning solutions across a variety of sectors. The Role
- Preparing site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application advice.
- Producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
- Undertaking traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments.
- Liaising with clients, project teams and local authorities.
- Attending project meetings and providing professional transport planning advice.
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high technical standards.
About You
- A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a transport planning consultancy.
- Proven experience preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
- Knowledge of industry-standard junction modelling software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Membership of, or working towards, a professional body such as CIHT or ICE. Chartered status would be advantageous.
