A large Architectural Practice, with nationwide reach, are now seeking a Head of CDM (Principal Designer) to lead their CDM / Health and Safety and Design Risk processes. This practice works across a wide range of sectors and is looking for their Head of CDM (Principal Designer) to grow their CDM services across their circa 1200 projects. You will have the support of internal Principal Designers and Architects. Due to their presence in the industry, you will enjoy meeting a variety of clients as the key contact for all CDM related matters and work closely with Directors to Part 1 designers. This will offer a diverse day-to-day.

The Role

The successful Head of CDM (Principal Designer) will be involved in refining internal training procedures, improving the competence of the internal staff and maximising their Principal Design and CDM service.

The Person

The CDM Principal Designer suitable for this role will have at least 10 years within a CDM Principal Design / Design Risk Management role. You will have a Chartered or Certified membership with either IOSH (CMIOSH) or the APS (CMaPS). Experience of working within Architectural teams will be advantageous.

The salary is negotiable dependent on your ability and experience but as a guide: Up to £90,000 pa, Car allowance, Bonus, Pension, Season ticket loan, Health care, Gym membership, Corporate incentive scheme.
