A respected and expanding housing provider is now seeking a skilled Fire Risk Carpenter to join their dedicated Fire Risk & Compliance Team. As a Fire Risk Carpenter, you will play a vital part in delivering critical fire safety compliance across a large and varied housing stock. The Fire Risk Carpenter\’s Role

The Fire Risk Carpenter will carry out a range of fire safety tasks across residential properties, ensuring all works meet current fire safety regulations and certification standards. Key responsibilities include:

Fire Door Installation & Maintenance – Fitting and maintaining fire doors in line with FIRAS or BM Trada standards
Fire Stopping – Completing high-standard passive fire protection works
General FRA Maintenance – Reactive and planned carpentry and joinery linked to Fire Risk Assessments, plus basic plastering and plumbingWorking across occupied homes and communal areas, the Fire Risk Carpenter will ensure safety, compliance, and professionalism at all times.

The Fire Risk Carpenter

City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery
Proven experience in maintenance and repair within residential housing
Knowledge of passive fire protection and multi-trade works
Ideally with FIRAS or BM Trada certification in fire doors or fire stopping
Ideally have experience working in compliance-led or social housing environments
Full UK driving licenceIn Return?
