A competent and qualified Fire risk assessor is required to join a global, renowned consultancy to assist them on nationwide projects, but based out of their Leeds office. The Fire Risk Assessor Role The successful fire risk assessor should be registered as a Tier 2 accreditor and able to assess properties autonomously. You will be required to travel nationally, although there are no projects in Scotland or Ireland. Overnight stays may be required approximately 3-4 times in a month. Their main client is a pub chain which has a diverse portfolio, sleeping accommodation, lettable rooms, large venues etc, although this is the main client there are also other clients spanning across various sectors also (commercial, retail etc). You will be required to occasionally meet in the Leeds office. Further responsibilities of the Fire Risk Assessor include: Managing clients Fire risk assessments Fire Compartmentation Fire Door SurveysWhat you can bring: At least one of the following qualifications/memberships: NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety. Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM). Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). FRA -registered Tier 2 preferred Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection will be advantageous. Sound technical fire knowledge and passive fire surveying experience. Experience managing clients with a strong understanding of profitability, business development and sound commercial awareness.
