A respected multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for a Fire Compartmentation Consultant to join their growing Fire Safety team in Leeds. This role would suit an experienced fire professional who enjoys technical inspections, client-facing work and clear report writing. You will work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, healthcare, education and public sector buildings.
The successful candidate will carry out compartmentation surveys, identify fire-stopping defects and provide practical recommendations to clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for better project variety, flexible working and long-term progression.

The Role:You will carry out fire compartmentation surveys across a wide range of properties, reviewing walls, floors, risers, service penetrations, fire doors and passive fire protection measures. You will produce detailed reports, highlight defects, recommend remedial works and support clients in improving building safety and compliance. You will also work closely with Fire Risk Assessors, Fire Engineers, Building Surveyors and wider technical teams to deliver joined-up fire safety advice.
Requirements:- Experience carrying out compartmentation surveys
- Knowledge of passive fire protection and fire-stopping systems
- Understanding of UK fire safety legislation
- Strong report writing skills
- Confident client-facing ability
- Experience working across residential, commercial or public sector buildings
- Relevant fire safety qualification or technical background
- Full UK driving licence
- £45,000 to £55,000
