A respected and growing fire and security specialist is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join their established team covering the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer looking to work with a diverse client base across commercial, industrial, education and public sector environments.

The successful Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding and small works associated with a wide range of fire alarm systems. The Fire Alarm Engineer's Role

  • Service and maintain fire alarm systems across a varied customer portfolio
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
  • Carry out small installation and remedial works when required
  • Complete all relevant documentation and service reports
  • Ensure compliance with current fire safety standards and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service whilst representing the business professionally
  • Participate in an on-call rota as required

The ideal Fire Alarm Engineer will have:

  • Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
  • Knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
  • Familiarity with BS5839 regulations
  • FIA qualifications or equivalent training desirable
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work independently and manage their own workload
