A respected construction consultancy are currently seeking an experienced Senior CDM Consultant to join their Derby-based team, delivering projects across the East Midlands.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior CDM Consultant.
The successful Senior CDM Consultant will be involved in the full array of CDM and Principal Designer duties on a range of complex projects.
Duties of the Senior CDM Consultant to include:
- Acting as Principal Designer on a range of projects.
- Providing CDM advisory services from project inception through to completion.
- Managing and coordinating design risk management processes.
- Reviewing designs and identifying, eliminating or controlling foreseeable risks.
- Preparing and maintaining pre-construction information and health and safety files.
- Liaising with clients, designers, contractors and other duty holders to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015.
- Attending design team and client meetings.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the CDM team.
The successful Senior CDM Consultant will have a demonstrably strong consultancy background and will fit the following description:
- Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Experience acting as Principal Designer.
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and project teams.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organised, proactive and commercially aware.
- Enjoys taking responsibility and ownership.
In return:
- £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (DOE)
