A forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Principal Fire Safety Consultant to lead within its established fire engineering team and work on complex, large-scale projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. The role combines technical delivery with leadership responsibilities, offering the chance to influence project direction, mentor junior consultants, and play a pivotal role in client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing the development of fire strategy from concept to completion.
- Produce detailed fire safety strategies, evacuation plans, and fire management solutions tailored to each project.
- Carry out advanced fire risk assessments, fire and smoke modelling, and radiated heat calculations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, design teams, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with UK fire safety standards.
- Deliver practical, innovative solutions and ensure project successes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong technical background in fire strategy and modelling.
