The Role
- Leading cost planning, estimating and feasibility studies
- Managing procurement processes, including tender preparation and contractor negotiation
- Administering contracts (primarily JCT) and ensuring compliance throughout delivery
- Overseeing project costs, variations and risk management
- Managing valuations, interim applications and final accounts
- Producing accurate cost reports and advising clients on commercial strategy
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Proven experience within the UK construction sector
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
- Chartered or working towards MRICS (or equivalent professional accreditation)
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
- Confident in a client-facing role
