A leading UK law firm is seeking a Corporate Senior Associate to join its growing London Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Senior Associate with 6+ years' PQE to take a leading role on high-value corporate transactions while working with an impressive client base that includes private companies, investors, entrepreneurs and multinational businesses.

The successful Corporate Senior Associate will join a progressive law firm recognised for delivering commercial legal advice across a broad range of sectors. The Corporate team advises on M&A, private equity, corporate finance and corporate governance, offering high-quality work, genuine career progression and a collaborative working environment.

As the Corporate Senior Associate you will lead complex corporate transactions while managing client relationships and supporting the development of junior lawyers. The role will include:

  • Leading M&A transactions, private equity deals and corporate restructurings
  • Drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, investment agreements and shareholder agreements
  • Managing due diligence processes and coordinating with specialist teams
  • Advising clients on corporate governance and strategic commercial matters
  • Acting as the primary client contact throughout transactions
  • Supporting business development and growing client relationships
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees
  • Keeping clients informed of legal and regulatory developments

You will be a commercially focused solicitor with strong corporate transactional experience and a passion for delivering excellent client service. The Corporate Senior Associate must have:

  • 6+ years' PQE in Corporate Law
  • Strong experience advising on M&A, private equity and corporate finance matters
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing transactions from inception to completion
  • Strong client relationship and business development skills
  • Experience mentoring junior lawyers
  • Commercial approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team
