A renowned, longstanding multidisciplinary are seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join our respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, working across a portfolio of new build residential projects in Milton Keynes, Birmingham, and London.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven Clerk of Works, who takes pride in ensuring construction quality, compliance, and excellence from the ground up. You'll join a collaborative, well-established team that delivers some of the most technically ambitious and socially important developments in the region.\\n\\nThe Role of the Clerk of Works\\n\\nAs a Clerk of Works, you'll be responsible for carrying out regular site inspections, monitoring construction quality, progress, and compliance with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, and warranty standards.\\n\\nYou'll act as the eyes and ears on site-reporting clearly and objectively, identifying defects or discrepancies, and ensuring our clients' interests are protected at every stage.\\n\\nClerk of Works Key responsibilities include:\\n\\nUndertaking regular site visits to monitor progress and workmanship on residential new builds.\\nPreparing clear, detailed, and timely inspection reports with photographic evidence.\\nVerifying compliance against contractual drawings, employers' requirements, Building Regulations, and warranty provider standards.\\nIdentifying and reporting defects, discrepancies, and non-conformances.\\nManaging snagging, de-snagging, and end-of-defect inspections with clients and contractors.\\nMaintaining accurate records and ensuring reports align with company QA processes.About You / Clerk of Works background\\n\\nMembership of the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI).\\nProven experience inspecting new build residential projects.\\nExcellent understanding of building regulations, construction standards, and defect management.\\nStrong written communication skills and report-writing ability.\\nFull UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel between sites.In Return:\\n\\nSalary: £55,000\\n\\n25 days annual leave\\nAdditional days leave for length of service\\nAdditional 10 days unpaid annual leave\\nBuy and sell annual leave\\nHybrid working approach\\nFlexible working options\\nEmployee referral scheme\\nRetail Discount\\nSalary sacrifice electric car scheme\\nPension contribution\\nInterest free travel season ticket loan\\nLife assurance\\nEmployee Assistance Program\\nMental Health First Aiders\\nSocial Events\\nPrivate Medical Health (Role Specific)\\nProfessional fees paid\\nFunded qualifications\\nCareer developmentAND MORE!\\n\\nIf you are a Clerk of Works, considering your career opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James. \\n\\nREF: 20507
