A leading fire consultancy is looking to appoint a Fire Engineer to support their expanding project workload across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region. This role would suit a Fire Engineer seeking greater project ownership and exposure to complex developments. The successful Fire Engineer will work on residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects. The Fire Engineer will be involved in fire strategies, engineering assessments and Building Regulations compliance. This Fire Engineer role offers excellent career progression within a well-established consultancy. The Fire Engineer will work closely with architects, developers and design teams from concept through to completion.
The Fire Engineer's Role
- Produce fire strategy reports
- Support Gateway submissions
- Undertake fire engineering calculations
- Provide technical advice to project teams
- Attend client and design meetings
The Fire Engineer should have:
- Degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline
- Experience within a fire consultancy
- Knowledge of Approved Document B
- Strong communication skills
- Working towards chartership desirable
