Architectural Assistant - Part 2 in Billericay

An established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Architectural Assistant - Part 2 to join their growing architectural team in Billericay. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architectural Assistant - Part 2 looking to gain varied project experience within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful Architectural Assistant - Part 2 will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including education, residential, healthcare, social housing and public sector schemes. Working alongside Architects and other technical professionals, the Architectural Assistant - Part 2 will contribute from planning and detailed design through to tender and construction. The Architectural Assistant - Part 2 Role The Architectural Assistant - Part 2 will assist with developing scheme designs and producing detailed architectural and technical drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD. Responsibilities will include preparing planning and Building Regulations drawings, producing working drawing packages for tender and construction, liaising with Building Control, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers, and assisting with technical specifications. The Architectural Assistant - Part 2 will also undertake measured building surveys, attend site meetings where required and support the Project Architect during the construction phase. There will also be opportunities to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of individual projects under appropriate supervision.
