A leading international professional services provider is seeking a Banking & Finance Lawyer to join their growing team in London. This permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a Mid Associate/Manager-level professional with a solid background in general banking law. The successful Banking & Finance Lawyer will work closely with a high-calibre client base, including banks, asset managers, and multinational corporates, supporting a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters. This role offers the chance for a Banking & Finance Lawyer to work on high-profile deals involving syndicated lending, leveraged finance, and corporate lending. Based in London, the Banking & Finance Lawyer will play a key role in providing strategic legal guidance across domestic and cross-border transactions, helping clients navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks. The Banking & Finance Lawyer\’s role The Banking & Finance Lawyer will be responsible for delivering commercially focused legal advice and hands-on transaction support. You\’ll take the lead on drafting and negotiating loan agreements, facility documents, and related security documentation, working closely with internal stakeholders and client legal teams. Additional responsibilities will include advising on banking regulation, supporting deal structuring, and ensuring compliance with applicable UK and international financial laws. This is a client-facing role that requires a confident communicator with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. The Banking & Finance Lawyer To be considered for this Banking & Finance Lawyer position, you should have: A minimum of 3 years\’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in banking and finance law. Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales (or another common law jurisdiction). Strong experience in general banking, corporate lending, and finance transactions. A sound understanding of UK financial services regulation. The ability to manage complex matters and build strong client relationships. In Return?
