Position Overview: Associate Director/Director Building Surveyor is sought for a building surveyor role within a building surveyor team supporting building surveying delivery across multiple sectors. This is a building surveyor position focused on project delivery, client engagement and technical input across varied instructions. The building surveyor will join a consultancy environment delivering building surveyor services across multiple sectors, supporting project delivery and client instructions across London and wider UK markets.

The Role: As an Associate Director/Director Building Surveyor, you will take responsibility for leading and supporting project instructions from inception through to completion. You will work with internal teams and external clients to deliver structured, commercially focused building surveying services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of building surveying services across commercial, residential, retail and corporate real estate sectors
  • Leading and managing project teams and external consultants
  • Contract administration and project oversight
  • Preparing and reviewing project documentation, programmes and budgets
  • Producing reports aligned to project stages and client requirements
  • Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Building Surveying or related property discipline
  • Strong UK experience delivering building surveying services across relevant sectors
  • Track record of managing client relationships and project delivery
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple instructions
  • Clear understanding of commercial and technical aspects of building surveying work
  • Strong technical and client-facing capability
  • Operating at Associate Director or Director level
