A nationally recognised, multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Designer to lead their growing CDM and Health & Safety function in Bristol.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Designer who wants to play a key role in shaping the consultancy's design risk management offering across the South West. The successful Principal Designer will lead major developments across commercial, residential, and public sectors, engaging with clients at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and oversee Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015 regulations

• Provide strategic design risk management and CDM advice to clients

• Mentor and develop the team of CDM Consultants and Senior CDM Consultants

• Influence safe design solutions across all stages of the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• CMaPS or equivalent professional membership (IMaPS minimum)

• NEBOSH Diploma or relevant H&S qualification

• Proven experience as a Principal Designer in consultancy or client-side role

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
