This is a mid-weight opportunity for a confident, proactive writer and thinker who can take ownership of key bids and turn complex technical information into clear, well-structured and persuasive proposals.
The role would suit an experienced bids and proposals professional who is not only a talented writer, but also an influential and collaborative communicator.
- Bid Writer - Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and write compelling, tailored bid responses that align with client requirements and objectives.
- Work closely with technical experts, operational teams and senior leaders to gather relevant information for submissions.
- Create clear, concise and persuasive
- Research and gather information from a wide range of sources, writing content from scratch or editing existing material where appropriate.
- Facilitate win-theme development, storyboarding and answer-planning sessions.
- Review, proofread and edit bid content to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance and high standards of grammar and style.
- Conduct one-to-one interviews with operational colleagues to capture technical knowledge and project insight.
- Develop and maintain case studies, project examples and testimonials that demonstrate their experience and expertise.
