A highly regarded London law firm is seeking a Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join its market-leading property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Real Estate Paralegal looking to develop their career within a prestigious practice, supporting high-value residential property transactions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, overseas investors and private banks.
The successful Residential Real Estate Paralegal will work closely with experienced fee earners on a broad range of prime and super-prime residential property matters, gaining exposure to complex transactions and excellent long-term career development.
The Residential Real Estate Paralegal role:
- Assisting with residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion
- Drafting contracts, transfer deeds and reports on title
- Ordering and reviewing searches and title documents
- Raising and responding to pre-contract enquiries
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
- Supporting exchange and completion, including preparing completion statements
- Submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Managing post-completion matters and Land Registry requisitions
- Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring regulatory compliance
The successful Residential Real Estate Paralegal:
- Previous residential conveyancing experience within a law firm
- Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Confident managing competing deadlines in a busy team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Experience with Elite, Filesite or similar systems would be advantageous
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in residential property law
