A specialist Regulatory team is seeking a motivated Paralegal to provide support on regulatory prosecution and defence matters, working closely with experienced fee earners and a range of professional regulatory bodies.
The Paralegal's Role
- Preparing legal documents and supporting case preparation
- Managing case administration and large volumes of documentation
- Reviewing, sorting, indexing and redacting documents
- Liaising with clients, witnesses, experts and third parties
- Requesting transcripts and evidence from courts
- Assisting with the preparation of hearing bundles
- Conducting legal and factual research
- Attending meetings and taking detailed notes
- Providing general support to fee earners throughout cases
The Paralegal
- Previous legal or paralegal experience preferred
- Strong organisational and document management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Confident liaising with clients and third parties
- Proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
- An interest in regulatory law would be advantageous
