Job Description

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Plymouth is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their award-winning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with a passion for sustainability and a strong track record in construction consultancy.

As a Project Manager, you will be based in their Plymouth office, working across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, and public projects. The company is known for its supportive and inclusive culture, offering real opportunities for professional growth. The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering pre and post-contract project management services, from initial concept through to project completion. You will manage key project activities such as risk assessments, stakeholder coordination, procurement, and contract administration. Working closely with clients and consultant teams, you'll ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while being supported by an expert team committed to sustainability and innovation. Occasional regional travel may be required, so a full UK driving licence would be desirable.

The Project Manager

  • Degree in a construction-related discipline

  • Minimum 2 years' consultancy experience in a Project Manager role

  • Chartered or working towards MCIOB, MRICS, or APM status

  • Proven experience managing construction projects across various sectors

  • Strong understanding of contract forms such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC

  • Skilled in using project management software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, MS Project)

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Competence in cost control, value engineering, and risk mitigation

In Return?

  • £42,000 – £52,000 per annum (DOE)
