A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver a range of residential and affordable housing projects across Lancashire and the wider North West region.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a client-focused consultancy with a strong presence in the residential sector, delivering high-quality cost management and employer's agent services. The role will involve working on new build housing schemes for both private and public sector clients.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to manage all pre- and post-contract duties, including cost planning, procurement strategy, tendering, contract administration, and acting as the employer's agent throughout the project lifecycle. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client management are key to success in this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong consultancy experience who enjoys leading projects and working closely with clients. Residential and affordable housing experience is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage.
Required Experience:- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or client-side environment
- Demonstrable employer's agent experience on residential projects
- Knowledge of affordable housing and regeneration schemes is beneficial
- MRICS or working towards chartership preferred
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
