A specialist passive fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage live projects across the Midlands. This is a delivery-focused Site Manager role for someone who understands how to run sites, control quality and take responsibility for works up to £1m and over.
The company is busy, well established and continuing to secure new work. They require a Passive Fire Site Manager to support ongoing growth rather than replace an outgoing individual. Fire door projects form a significant part of the workload, making this an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with strong fire door and compliance experience.
The successful Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple passive fire protection projects across the Midlands. This Site Manager will act as Principal Contractor on site, ensuring SHEQ, CDM and quality standards are met while delivering projects on time and within budget. The Site Manager will manage labour, subcontractors and site activity, with particular focus on fire door installations and third-party accreditation requirements. The role offers genuine autonomy, sensible regional travel and a consistent pipeline of work.
The successful Site Manager will have experience managing contracts up to £1m and be confident running live construction sites. You will have fire door experience, SMSTS and a good understanding of third-party accreditation such as FIRAS, BM Trada and BRE. A solid grasp of SHEQ, CDM and Principal Contractor duties is highly desirable.
In return, the position offers:
- £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
- Company car or generous car allowance
- Paid Health Plan membership for you and family
- Annual bonus + annual pay rise
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
