Associate Director – Building Control to join its Hinckley office and become a key member of the Senior Management Team.
The successful
Associate Director – Building Control will take on a dual strategic and operational position, combining senior leadership responsibilities with team management and hands‑on project delivery.

- The Associate Director – Building Control’s Role
- The
Associate Director – Building Control will lead and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors while overseeing the consistent delivery of high-quality Building Control, fire safety and associated consultancy services.
Alongside contributing to business strategy, the
Associate Director – Building Control will manage their own portfolio of clients and projects. The
Associate Director – Building Control will also support operational performance, workload planning, technical standards and team development.
Responsibilities will include
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the business
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Building Inspectors
- Overseeing workloads, performance and service delivery
- Acting as the Registered Building Inspector for allocated projects
- Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Supporting the growth of Building Control and consultancy services
- Ensuring projects meet regulatory and professional standards
- Balancing commercial objectives with technical delivery
- The Associate Director – Building Control
The successful Associate Director – Building Control will have extensive Building Control experience and a strong understanding of current Building Safety Regulator requirements.
- Registered Building Inspector at Class 3G or 3H
- Strong Building Control experience
- Proven leadership or team management experience
- Relevant professional qualification with CABE, RICS or equivalent
- Strong commercial and client management skills
- Excellent technical, organisational and decision‑making ability
- Confident balancing strategic leadership with project delivery
