Associate Director – Building Control to join its Hinckley office and become a key member of the Senior Management Team.

The successful

Associate Director – Building Control will take on a dual strategic and operational position, combining senior leadership responsibilities with team management and hands‑on project delivery.

Associate Director – Building Control will lead and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors while overseeing the consistent delivery of high-quality Building Control, fire safety and associated consultancy services.

Alongside contributing to business strategy, the

Associate Director – Building Control will manage their own portfolio of clients and projects. The

Associate Director – Building Control will also support operational performance, workload planning, technical standards and team development.

Responsibilities will include

  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the business
  • Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Building Inspectors
  • Overseeing workloads, performance and service delivery
  • Acting as the Registered Building Inspector for allocated projects
  • Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Supporting the growth of Building Control and consultancy services
  • Ensuring projects meet regulatory and professional standards
  • Balancing commercial objectives with technical delivery
  • The Associate Director – Building Control

The successful Associate Director – Building Control will have extensive Building Control experience and a strong understanding of current Building Safety Regulator requirements.

  • Registered Building Inspector at Class 3G or 3H
  • Strong Building Control experience
  • Proven leadership or team management experience
  • Relevant professional qualification with CABE, RICS or equivalent
  • Strong commercial and client management skills
  • Excellent technical, organisational and decision‑making ability
  • Confident balancing strategic leadership with project delivery
