One of the UK’s leading construction and property consultancies are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Building Safety Consultant to join their expanding Building Safety division. Projects predominantly across Newcastle and the wider North East.

This organisation are seeking a Building Safety Consultant as they continue to secure long-term frameworks and repeat instructions relating to higher-risk buildings and Building Safety Act compliance.

The Building Safety Consultant Role

The successful Building Safety Consultant will be responsible for supporting clients through the evolving Building Safety regulatory landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Safety Consultant to join a consultancy offering long-term security, professional development and a clear career pathway within Building Safety.

Duties of the Building Safety Consultant to include:

  • Support Building Safety Act compliance across higher-risk buildings.
  • Assist with Gateway submissions and Safety Case documentation.
  • Review and advise on design and construction information.
  • Liaise with regulators, clients and project teams.
  • Undertake site inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Building Safety processes.

The Person

The successful Building Safety Consultant will have a background in Building Safety, fire engineering, health and safety or building control. The Building Safety Consultant will fit the following description:
