A Construction Consultancy who lead on Building Surveying projects, are seeking a Building Control Surveyor to lead their Building Regulation Consultancy. You will work closely with their team of Surveyors and Fire Engineers, and also lead on external enquiries. They have been operating as the de facto Building Regulation Principal Designer on their lead design work, however you will play an important role in helping their consultancy grow, which will offer extremely good career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Building Safety Act (2022) and Building Regulation advice to clients and internal colleagues.
- Supporting the in-house Building Regulation Principal Designers and ensuring smooth transition towards Gateway 2 Applications.
- Working closely with a large team of Fire Engineers.
Requirements:
- Class 2F minimum (required)
- Experience working on HRBs (required)
- Member of a professional organisation: MCABE / RIBA / MCIAT / MICE (Required)
- Sound knowledge of Building Control/Regulations and Gateway applications (required)
