With a focus on estates strategy, capital delivery, and long-term asset improvement programmes, this is a leadership role offering a blend of project delivery, client engagement, and team development. The Associate Director will take responsibility for overseeing multiple projects across the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors, ensuring robust cost management, driving value, and maintaining excellent client relationships. Associate Director – Key Responsibilities Deliver cost consultancy services across a range of capital projects Lead pre and post contract duties including cost planning, tendering, and final accounts Drive procurement strategy and provide commercial guidance to clients Manage client relationships and support business development efforts Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members Ensure projects are delivered to high standards, on time and within budget Associate Director – Candidate Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field MRICS status essential Minimum of 8 years\’ experience in a consultancy Broad sector experience including education, healthcare (essential) , or commercial preferred Strong commercial acumen and confident client communication Demonstrated experience managing teams and delivering multiple concurrent projects In Return Salary of £85,000 – £95,000 depending on experience 25 days annual leave bank holidays Hybrid working model with flexibility Supportive team culture with clear progression to Director level CPD opportunities and leadership development Opportunity to work with high-profile public and private clients If you are a Quantity Surveyor considering your career opportunities, then please contact Dan McEvoy at Brandon James.
