One of the UK’s leading construction and property consultancies are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable CDM Consultant to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the Midlands. This organisation are seeking a CDM Consultant as they continue to grow, expand their client base and secure an ever-increasing pipeline of high value schemes across the built environment.
The successful CDM Consultant will be involved in the full array of CDM duties across multiple projects, working closely with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure compliance and best practice across all stages. Duties of the CDM Consultant to include:
- Provide CDM advisory services to clients and project teams from pre-construction through to completion.
- Assist in the delivery of Principal Designer services in line with the CDM Regulations 2015.
- Review and advise on design risk management, ensuring hazards are identified, eliminated and reduced where possible.
- Support the production and review of pre-construction information (PCI), construction phase plans and relevant H&S documentation.
- Attend design team and client meetings, providing clear guidance on CDM compliance and project risk.
- Liaise with dutyholders to ensure responsibilities are understood and discharged effectively.
- Undertake site visits and audits (where required), producing clear reports and tracking actions to close out.
- Assist with the preparation and compilation of Health & Safety Files on completion.
The successful CDM Consultant will have a demonstrably successful track record in a CDM or H&S advisory position within a consultancy environment. The CDM Consultant will fit the following description:
