A specialist immigration law firm is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join its growing team. This Immigration Paralegal role offers the opportunity to support a US Attorney on a range of US business immigration matters, gaining exposure to complex client cases and developing specialist immigration knowledge.
The successful Immigration Paralegal will ideally have experience in US business immigration; however, candidates with strong legal experience, a genuine interest in immigration law and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
The successful Immigration Paralegal will join a specialist immigration practice focused on providing tailored advice to businesses and individuals. The team offers a supportive environment, hands-on training and the opportunity to develop expertise within a niche area of immigration law.
As the Immigration Paralegal you will support the US Attorney and wider team across a range of US business immigration matters. The role will include:
- Supporting the preparation and management of US business immigration applications
- Assisting with case preparation, document review and client correspondence
- Conducting legal research and preparing case notes
- Reviewing supporting evidence and ensuring documentation is accurate
- Liaising with clients and third parties throughout the immigration process
- Preparing forms, submissions and supporting documentation
- Maintaining accurate case files and case management records
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Providing general administrative and legal support to the team
You will be an organised and motivated individual with an interest in developing a career within US immigration law. The Immigration Paralegal must have:
- Previous paralegal or legal support experience
- Experience in US business immigration would be advantageous
- Strong interest in immigration law and willingness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Professional and client-focused approach
- Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems
