A well-established multidisciplinary engineering and surveying consultancy is seeking a Land Surveyor to join their growing team in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor to work on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, infrastructure and development projects.

The Land Surveyor Role
/n
The successful Land Surveyor will undertake detailed topographical and measured building surveys for a wide range of clients. Working both independently and alongside experienced engineers, designers and surveying professionals, they will collect accurate site data and produce high-quality drawings and survey information.
/n
The Land Surveyor will use modern surveying equipment and software, including total stations, GPS systems and laser-scanning technology. They will be responsible for planning survey work, completing site visits, processing collected data and ensuring all information is delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.

Additional responsibilities may include setting out, establishing control networks, producing floor plans and elevations, and supporting engineering teams with accurate land and building information.

Land Surveyor Requirements
/n
The successful candidate should have:
/n

- /n
Previous experience working as a Land Surveyor, Engineering Surveyor or Measured Building Surveyor.
/n
- /n
A relevant qualification in land surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or a related discipline, such as an HNC, HND or degree.
/n
- /n
Experience using total stations, GPS equipment and survey-processing software.
/n
- /n
The ability to produce accurate topographical and measured building surveys.
/n
- /n
Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
/n
- /n
Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to project delivery.
/n
- /n
Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients and colleagues.
/n
- /n
A full UK driving licence.
/n
/n
Experience using laser scanners, point-cloud software or other modern surveying technologies would be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

The successful Land Surveyor will receive:

A salary of approximately Β£30,000 to Β£35,000, depending on experience.
