Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessor to deliver professional risk management services across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
The successful
Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessor will work directly with clients, completing assessments, audits and inspections while providing clear, practical advice to improve health, safety and fire compliance.

- The
Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for
- Completing Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments across residential and commercial properties.
- Undertaking compliance audits, site inspections and consultancy assignments.
- Identifying hazards, evaluating levels of risk and recommending practical remedial actions.
- Producing detailed, accurate and easy-to-understand technical reports.
- Advising clients on their responsibilities under current health, safety and fire legislation.
- Ensuring assessments follow relevant legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, British Standards and recognised industry guidance.
- Explaining assessment findings and helping clients prioritise appropriate actions.
- Supporting technical reviews and report quality checks where appropriately qualified.
- Maintaining accurate turnaround times and delivering work in line with agreed service standards.
- Keeping knowledge current through regular Continuing Professional Development.
- Travelling to client sites, with occasional overnight stays where required.
- The Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessor
- The successful
Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessor will ideally hold
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- ABBE Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment Qualfication
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety and fire safety legislation.
- Experience completing risk assessments within residential and/or commercial environments.
- Excellent written reporting and client-facing communication skills.
- Relevant professional membership would be advantageous.
