A well-established fire consultancy is seeking a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor to carry out fire risk assessments across a high-risk portfolio, with a strong focus on care homes. This is a national role with a steady workload across South Yorkshire, the South Coast, and Wales.

The Fire Risk Assessor will work predominantly on-site for three days a week, conducting detailed fire risk assessments across complex, high-risk residential care settings. With a national client base, this role involves some overnight stays (typically one per week, though this can vary).

The successful Fire Risk Assessor will typically complete up to 10 fire risk assessments and reports per week, balancing efficiency with diligence to ensure accuracy and safety across all assignments.

The Fire Risk Assessor Will Have:

  • Level 3 or Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, FPA, or equivalent)
  • Membership or accreditation with a recognised fire safety body (IFE, IFSM, FRACS etc.)
  • Full UK driving licence

In Return:

  • £55,000 - £65,000
  • Car allowance / Overnight stay allowance
  • Pension 5%
  • Flexible working arrangements
