A highly regarded international law firm is seeking an Energy Paralegal to join its growing Energy and Projects team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an Energy Paralegal to join a highly respected team working on a broad range of energy, infrastructure and projects matters across the UK and internationally. The successful Energy Paralegal will support experienced Partners and Associates on complex transactions and advisory work across sectors including renewables, oil & gas, power, infrastructure and sustainable energy projects. The Energy Paralegal will gain exposure to high-value and cross-border matters within a collaborative and commercially focused team environment, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the energy sector. You must have prior law firm experience to be considered for this role.
The successful Energy Paralegal will support the wider team across a range of responsibilities including:
- Assisting with drafting and reviewing commercial and project documentation
- Supporting transactions across renewable energy, infrastructure and power projects
- Conducting legal research on energy, regulatory and commercial matters
- Preparing transaction documents, bundles and due diligence reports
- Managing and organising documents across multiple live matters
- Liaising with clients, third parties and internal teams
- Supporting Partners and Associates on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Assisting with project coordination and completion processes
The Energy Paralegal will ideally have:
- Previous paralegal experience within energy, projects, corporate or commercial law
- Strong academics including an LLB, GDL, LPC or SQE studies
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong drafting and communication abilities
- A genuine interest in the energy and infrastructure sector
- The ability to manage competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment
