The Chartered Commercial Building Surveyor’s Role: The successful Building Surveyor will deliver the full spectrum of professional and project based surveying services, working across both public and private sector clients. Projects range across healthcare, education, commercial and local authority schemes, offering genuine variety and long term development. You will be involved in:
- Design and specification of works
- Contract administration and clerk of works duties
- Building surveys, condition surveys and dilapidations
- Defect diagnosis and pre acquisition surveys
- Party wall matters and neighbourly issues
- Preparing tender documentation, analysing tenders and advising clients
You will work closely with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical and professional standards.
The Successful Building Surveyor Will Have Qualifications:
- Degree in Building Surveying
- MRICS or working towards chartership
Knowledge and attributes:
- Experience across building surveys and professional services
- Strong project management capabilities
- Well organised, commercially astute and proactive
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
