A leading Construction Consultancy with a strong national presence and a reputation for excellence, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their expanding London team. With a decade-long track record of delivering innovative, practical solutions across the built environment, they are looking to strengthen their Building Surveying division with a talented individual ready to take the next step in their career.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary consultancy offering a wide range of building surveying services across both the private and public sectors. The successful Senior Building Surveyor will work across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects. You will be responsible for managing a variety of technical duties – from condition surveys and defect diagnosis to design, contract administration, and project management.
As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of projects and exceptional client service. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth and development of the department.
The Successful Senior Building Surveyor Will Have
- Qualifications:
- A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
- Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
- Solid technical knowledge and experience across core Building Surveying duties
- Experience managing multiple projects at one time
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficient in CAD and other industry-relevant software
- A proactive approach to CPD and mentoring junior staff
