A multidisciplinary consultancy who have been operating for almost a century are looking to bring a Principal Designer into their growing business. If you are an Architect who has experience of managing design risk, and do not enjoy the late finishes that Architecture offers, then this is the opportunity for you.
Since Grenfell the industry is changing and you can play a vital role in ensuring buildings maintain appropriate compliance. This is a task which is made easier when you have a supportive environment, something which my client offers.
You will work closely with Architects, Building Surveyors and Fire Engineers as you manage the Design risks across CDM 2015, BSA 2022 and the supporting legislation.
The Principal Designer – CDM and Building Regulation will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of post ARB registration experience (essential)
- Direct experience of managing design risk (essential)
- CDM or H&S qualification(s) (e.g. NEBOSH Construction Certificate) (preferred)
- Good knowledge of the BSA and supporting legislation
- Good knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
