A Construction Consultancy is now seeking a Building Regulation Principal Designer to be involved in a variety of projects within their retail and public sector frameworks.

Due to these long-standing client frameworks, they have extended their service offering into the Building Regulation Principal Design world. You will receive the support of a Building Control Surveyor as you lead on internal (Architects in-house) and external enquiries.

They are seeking someone who has an Architectural, Design/Technical Management background, with a demonstrable ability to ensure Building Regulation compliance. This will suit someone looking for career progression as they grow the team underneath you.

The successful Lead Building Regulation Principal Designer will be involved in ensuring Building Regulation compliance and guiding clients through the Gateway process. You will have the support of 1 direct report and a team of in-house Architects.

The Building Regulation Principal Designer suitable for this role will have at least 7 years within an Architectural, Design or Building Control role. You will have an ARB, MCIAT, RIBA, MCABE or MCIOB membership. You will be proficient at ensuring Building Regulation compliance within designs.

The salary is negotiable dependent on your ability and experience but as a guide:
