A highly respected specialist consultancy is seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Fire Engineer looking to work on a wide range of complex and high-profile projects across the built environment sector.
The successful Fire Engineer will support the delivery of bespoke fire strategies, smoke control solutions and performance-based fire engineering designs across commercial, residential, mixed-use and public sector developments. This role offers exposure to both new-build and existing building projects, alongside structured mentoring and genuine progression opportunities.
The Fire Engineer’s Role
The appointed Fire Engineer will lead smaller projects independently while supporting Senior Engineers on larger, technically challenging schemes. Responsibilities will include:
- Producing fire strategy reports and technical documentation
- Attending client and design team meetings both remotely and on-site
- Managing multiple live projects from concept through to completion
- Assisting with fee proposals and supporting business development activity
- Delivering clear technical advice to clients and stakeholders
- Supporting and mentoring Graduate Engineers within the team
- Contributing to research initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Maintaining CPD and developing specialist technical expertise
