We're working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to its growing M&E team in Billericay.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Building Services Engineer looking to take greater ownership of projects, strengthen their client-facing experience and work across a diverse portfolio including commercial, education, defence and residential developments.
The role:
- Deliver electrical building services designs from concept through to completion
- Produce detailed designs, specifications, calculations and technical reports
- Liaise directly with clients to establish project briefs and budget requirements
- Review tenders and provide technical recommendations
- Carry out site inspections, surveys and condition reports
- Monitor projects throughout construction and installation
- Work closely with Mechanical Engineers and other disciplines
- Produce designs and documentation using Amtech, AutoCAD and Revit
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience within electrical building services design
- Consultancy or multi-project experience preferred
- Confident using AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech
- Good understanding of UK building services standards and regulations
- Comfortable communicating with clients, contractors and wider design teams
