A leading construction and property consultancy is looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Oxford team. With a strong UK and global presence, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across diverse projects while working towards chartership and career progression.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support senior team members on a variety of projects in affordable housing, government, education, healthcare, private residential, hospitality, and sport. You will assist with cost planning, contract administration, and project management while gaining exposure to both pre- and post-contract work.

This consultancy offers structured APC support, mentoring from senior professionals, and a clear pathway to Chartered and Senior QS level. With hybrid working (2 days from home), this role provides excellent professional development and work-life balance.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

You will ideally have:

  • A RICS Accredited degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
  • 1+ years Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy/PQS firm
  • Basic Pre and Post Contract experience
  • A valid UK driving license is beneficial
  • Ambition to achieve Chartership
