A dynamic and award-winning Property & Construction Consultancy are looking to strengthen their Southampton office with the addition of a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within a collaborative and forward-thinking consultancy.
The AssistantQuantity Surveyor Role
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join a friendly and professional team, working on a broad mix of residential new build projects for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and Private Developers.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support senior colleagues in delivering Quantity Surveying, Employer's Agent, and Contract Administration services across all stages of the project lifecycle. You'll gain practical experience across both pre and post contract work, providing a solid foundation for career development.
This role is ideal for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is keen to accelerate their career, develop their technical skills, and work towards chartership. The company offers a structured APC programme, regular internal training, and ongoing professional support.
The AssistantQuantity Surveyor
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or related construction degree)
- Minimum of 1+ year Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy / PQS firm
- Residential project experience is beneficial
- Eager to progress with APC and gain MRICS status
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn
