A growing construction consultancy in Hertfordshire is looking for an ambitious Project Manager to join its established team. The successful Project Manager will work across an interesting mix of retail fit-out and property projects, providing hands-on project management support from initial planning through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys working closely with clients and wants greater responsibility within a supportive consultancy environment.
The Project Manager will manage projects through the full development lifecycle, supporting clients from early-stage planning and procurement through construction and handover. Responsibilities will include preparing programmes, coordinating design teams, managing contractors, chairing project meetings, monitoring progress, identifying risks and providing clear updates to clients.
The successful Project Manager will ideally have:
- Previous Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
- Experience delivering retail fit-out, refurbishment or commercial property projects
- A construction-related degree such as Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying
- Progress towards, or membership of, RICS, APM or CIOB
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Experience coordinating consultants and contractors
