With a nationwide branch network and a reputation for service excellence, we support major contractors and organisations across construction, infrastructure, facilities management and industrial sectors. We are now seeking an experienced National Account Manager (Tier 1) to manage and grow our largest and most strategic national customers. This is a high-impact role focused on large, high-value, complex accounts, driving consistent national delivery, strong profitability and long-term strategic partnerships. You will work closely with the Major Account Management Team, senior stakeholders and operational leaders to ensure a joined‑up, one‑team approach across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Major accounts in the Specialist market sector, delivering year‑on‑year revenue and profit growth.
- Develop and execute national account strategies and growth plans.
- Work collaboratively with the Major Account Management Team to ensure a consistent national approach.
- Understand customer requirements and the competitive landscape to position relevant solutions effectively.
- Lead on bids, tenders and PQQ submissions for national customers.
- Undertake root‑cause analysis for customer issues and implement preventative actions.
- Actively model and drive a one‑team culture across sales and operations.
- Build strong relationships with senior decision‑makers and key stakeholders.
- Attend industry events and forums to network and identify new major account opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM data for all national accounts.
