At Branding Science Group, we're looking for a motivated Graduate Data Scientist to join our growing global Data Science team. Working at the intersection of data science, healthcare insights, technology and innovation, you'll help drive meaningful business change through automation, analytics and AI-powered solutions, while developing your technical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support data science initiatives that drive key business outcomes
- Assist in delivering our data strategy and improving access to internal data assets
- Build, maintain and enhance internal data science tools, pipelines and AI-powered applications
- Perform quantitative data analysis for client projects
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve business efficiency
- Support the rollout and adoption of new data and AI tools across teams
- Contribute to thought leadership activities, including LinkedIn content and conference presentations
- Help improve AI literacy and data science capabilities across the organisation
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior team members
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or another numerate discipline
- A strong interest in applying data science to solve business problems
- Experience contributing to analytical, technical or machine learning projects through academic, internship or personal projects
- Understanding of statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, regression and p-values
- Experience coding in Python or R for data analysis, modelling or visualisation
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A proactive mindset, curiosity to learn and high personal integrity
Desirable Experience
- Experience building code-based technical solutions
- Exposure to AI or LLM applications (e.g. OpenAI or Anthropic APIs)
- Experience using Git or other version control systems
- Exposure to data pipelines, APIs and SQL databases
- Experience deploying internal or web-based data tools
