York House Designs is a Market‑Leading Residential & Commercial Interior Design & Management studio based in St. Margarets, West London. We are looking for a Studio‑Based Design Assistant to support the Lead Designer and Procurement & Project Manager in projects from initial concept to on‑site completion.
Salary and Hours
£12,500 – £18,000PA, depending on hours and experience. Part‑time (15 – 20 hours Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday). Ideal candidate would have scope to increase.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Designer and Procurement & Project Manager
- Sample library organisation
- Product library organisation
- Social media and marketing content creation and scheduling
- Supplier liaisons: follow up on purchase orders, client invoices
- Organise client meetings and diary management
- Project and product research
- Perform sketchup and layout design work
- Create moodboards
- Respond to leads and enquiries, generate new contacts
- Communicate with clients, suppliers and trades at all stages
- Organise portfolio photo‑shoots and assist with styling
- Update and manage Houzz Profile and other online platforms
- Share responsibility of studio cleanliness and upkeep

- Be confident in involvement in projects from start to finish
- Work positively with a small team and support others as needed
- Assist in creating visually pleasing and technically accurate 2D and 3D drawings

- Understanding of social media and marketing
Experience Needed
- Minimum three years working experience in any industry
- Minimum one year working within design / building / bathroom / kitchen industry
- Experience of social media management
- Completed a SketchUp course (online or formal education)
