Electronics Repair Technician

Leisure Electronics is a well-established and rapidly growing business supplying and servicing electronic equipment for the leisure and gaming industry across the UK.

Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm in our Hull workshop. £13 to £14.50 an Hour subject to experience.

- Our workshop is responsible for repairing a wide range of equipment including:
- Windows & Android tablets
- Bingo handheld terminals
- Thermal printers
- LCD monitors
- Note acceptors
- Power supplies
- Electronic assemblies and peripheral devices

The Role
As an Electronics Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and testing a wide range of electronic equipment to a high standard.
Typical duties include
- Diagnosing electronic and hardware faults
- Repairing Windows and Android tablets
- Repairing printers, monitors and gaming equipment
- Component-level repairs where appropriate
- Soldering and replacing electronic components
- Testing repaired equipment before dispatch Recording repairs accurately using internal systems
- Helping maintain high workshop standards
- Identifying recurring faults and suggesting improvements
- The skills & Experience required for this role
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience repairing electronic equipment
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with Windows and/or Android devices
- Confidence dismantling and rebuilding electronic equipment
- Good soldering skills
- An understanding of electronic circuits and components
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience repairing gaming, amusement or payment equipment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
