We are looking for a Field Based Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price. This is a field-based position, covering the following postcodes areas:CV,NN, PE, NR, IP, CB,SG,MK,OX,HP,LU,SL,AL, WD, UB,HA,EN,N, E,IG,RM, CM,SS,CO. You will ideally be based in the St Albans/Hertford/ Harlow area.
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company objectives.
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trend to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
- Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear out etc.
- Build constructive customer relationships to build pipeline and close deals.
- Remain up to date with industry best practice.
Qualifications
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engages, inform and motivate.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills.
- Full clean driving licence, as will need to cover region.
