We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, high-tech manufacturing business based in Holmes Chapel, who are looking to add a Production Operator to their operations team. This is a hands-on role within a production and warehouse environment, ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a performance-driven team.

The Role

  • Support day-to-day production activities, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently, orders are completed to specification, and quality and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating production machinery in line with job cards and specifications
  • Supporting production output in line with operational KPIs (OEE, scrap, delivery performance)
  • Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards (PPE, LOTO, near-miss reporting)
  • Completing accurate production data and ensuring full batch traceability
  • Supporting warehouse and logistics activities, including FLT operation (where trained)
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures and quality systems
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
  • Working closely with production, logistics and operations teams

About You

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Comfortable operating machinery and following detailed procedures
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with good communication skills
